Wordly Wise 3000, Second Edition, provides direct and systematic vocabulary instruction and enhances reading comprehension. It also includes reading first strategies and Greek and Latin Roots. The Wordly Wise 3000 1st Edition vocabulary curriculum is still available as well as the Original Wordly Wise Vocaulary Books.

What's New!

The Wordly Wise 3000 Series has been revised. Kindergarten and first grade books have been added to the series and the other levels have been renumbered to correspond to grade level. For example, Wordly Wise 3000 2nd Edition Book 7 is for grade 7. That makes it a lot nicer to figure out what you need!

The old books A, B, and C have been recycled into two books (Books 2 and 3.) Each one has 15 lessons.

Completely new are Level K and 1. The kindergarten book has 12 lessons, and Book 1 has 15 lessons. They are very colorful with nice illustrations. You will need the Wordly Wise 3000 Teacher Resource Package for each of these levels because there are "teacher will read you some stories" that are in the Teacher Books. That's unfortunate because the Teacher's resource package is pricey. Maybe they will add a homeschool teacher book for levels K and 1 at some point.

What's New in Books 4 to 12? Word Lists appear throughout each lesson. There are Greek and Latin root exercises. They have an engaging, colorful format. The reading passage references (date/historical) were updated where necessary and there are Word Study Exercises with Greek and Latin roots, prefixes, suffixes, parts of speech, synonyms, antonyms, and analogies.
