I had an old Franklin that I used for nearly 8 years and when I got this I wondered what had taken me so long. The biggest difference is that with this one you can actually see several lines of text instead of only 3 on my old one. Had to get batteries but they had them down at the Walgreens. I'd recommend getting it if you want to switch between translations!
I am trilled with my Frankilin Electronic Bible. Received it about two weeks ago and decided to sent this review for anyone who is thinking about getting one. I have friends who own one and I decided to finally spend the money. All I can tell you is, I shouldn't have waited so long. The search feature is the best thing that ever happened to me. I have a good memory, but some days I seem to have trouble getting to the right verse, the right passage. That is no longer the case. It's so light and easy to read that I carry it with me where ever I go. It is indeed a blessing
I have been going thru some tough times lately but knowing the Lord is with me has given me peace. But I must admit on some days I struggle. Out of nowhere, an old high school friend sent me a simple note. "Thinking of you" The next day, from Bibleco.com I received this Franklin Electronic Bible. This Franklin Electronic Bible has turned out to be a great purchase. My children are even excited to help me look up passages and recite the Lord's Word. It in a very strange way, it has even brought my family closer together as we are sharing and communicating in a new way.

I received my Franklin Electronic Bible and am very surprised at how easy it is to read and to use. It is a lot easier to use and searching for what you need is much easier than paging thru. I am very pleased.
